Not too long after he did, Connie Converse wrote this song. I'm absolutely NOT a musician but the piece spoke to my heart in such a soft and open way. Add this to the list of pieces I've made this year inspired by her. 🌿
I love how she views the passing of the seasons from the vine on her garden wall. So I captured some of the ivy from mine. Then using blender I printed some little leaf tests before integrating it into a flower press design. You use water color paper in-between the flowers and the two boards to press the moisture out. Then you have perfectly preferred petals. 🌺 I take her everywhere with me now so I can collect specimens on the side of the road for art.
